You will work with our School Psychologists, Year Coordinators, Head of Senior School and the Deputy Principal: Wellbeing, Boarding and Development, to support our students, parents, and teachers.Our School Psychologists are key members of our Wellbeing Team at Ravenswood and the main function of this role is to provide counselling support to our students.Essential criteria:Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA;Experience with CBT as well as a strong interest in positive psychology and related therapies;Familiarity with trauma informed interventions;Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice;Experience in providing quality evidence-based services for children, adolescents, and their parents.Desirable criteria:Experience working with groups;Experience in staff training;Experience working with children and adolescents aged 5-18 years;Experience working in schools;Endorsement in clinical or educational psychology is desirable;Minimum 3-5 years working as a psychologist.Additional Skills/Requirements:Strong understanding/ experience working with young people and families of diverse cultural backgrounds;Ability to work with children and adolescents with disabilities or learning needs;Ability to administer and report psychometric assessment such as the WISC, WAIS and WIAT;Understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as it applies to schools;Tertiary qualifications in Psychology;Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA);Eligibility for registration with Australian Psychological Society (APS).To Apply:Please include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria, additional skills and requirements along with your resume.Ravenswood will begin to review applications prior to the application closure date.
