The successful candidate will undertake the responsibility of leading and managing the seamless operation of various co-curricular sports activities offered at Ravenswood. These encompass a diverse range of disciplines including Swimming, Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Tennis, and Athletics.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the efficient and effective operation of the various Co-curricular sports run at Ravenswood.Manage the Emerging Athlete Program, including the organisation, and implementation of high-performance management initiatives.Provide strategic leadership to foster an innovative Co-curricular Sports Program and Emerging Athlete Program.Lead and manage the Co-curricular Sport Program team, including Head Coaches, Sports Coordinators and Casual Sport Coaches.Oversee the Ravenswood sporting teams at the IGSA and IPSHA carnivals.Promote the Co-curricular Sporting Program and the Emerging Athlete Program within the Ravenswood community and the broader sporting community.Qualifications and Skills:Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a sports or education setting.Relevant qualifications in sports management, education, or a related field will be highly regarded.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students, staff, and external stakeholders.Proven track record in program development and management, preferably within a high-performance sporting environment.Extensive understanding of risk management as it relates to co-curricular activities.Commitment to upholding the ethos and values of an independent Uniting Church school.To Apply:Please submit your resume, and a cover letter outlining your suitability to the role via our recruitment platform.Ravenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide the School with their Working With Children Check number in order to be eligible for this position.It is not a requirement of employment to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
