The Director of Academic Administration is responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the school on a daily basis, working with members of the School Leadership Team and school community to effectively plan and organise all school events and activities. This role is responsible for the coordination and administration of the school calendar, the daily operations of the school and the development and coordination of the school timetable in consultation with key stakeholders. This role is also responsible for the coordination and further development of co-curricular programs and school events including staffing requirements.Other functions include:Manage the rostering of staff for whole school events such as carnivals and performances.Liaise with stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation of facilities and resources.Oversee the use of approved casuals to cover teacher absences in the Secondary School.Assist the Deputy Principal with documentation and risk assessments for excursions, tours and immersions.Teaching in a KLA (0.2-0.4FTE).To be successful in this position, you will need the following skills, knowledge and attributes:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.A high-level capability in numeracy and administration.Highly organised, a meticulous planner with detail and process management skills.In depth knowledge of NESA compliance requirements.Able to prepare and present operational and compliance reports.Able to work effectively with a range of people across the school community.Able to use initiative, be decisive and authoritative.Able to exercise sound judgment in making recommendations.Computer literacy with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.Timetabling experience and the use of software such as Edval would be an advantage.Ravenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. To Apply:Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
