On this occasion we are seeking passionate and trained RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet teachers.  This casual position will commence teaching in Term 1, 2025 and will commence onboarding and handover in Term 4, 2024. The successful candidate must be available to take classes on Tuesdays (approx 3.00pm- 7.30pm) and Saturdays (12.00pm - 5.30pm).The successful candidate/s will be highly organised with strong communication skills, and have the appropriate qualifications and demonstrated teaching ability in the following areas:Support dancers preparing for RAD Ballet Examinations from Grade 1- Advanced Foundation.Delivery RAD Ballet technique classes for Pre-Primary through to Advanced Foundation.Understand safe dance principles and feel confident delivering strengthening for pointe and pointe trainingRAD technique on display through a mid-year and end of year concert routineDeliver lessons to a variety of students from the beginner dancer to the experience examination candidateBe familiar with the Progressing Ballet Technique or be willing to upskill and complete courseHold an up to date First Aid CertificateRavenswood School for Girls is dedicated to maintaining a child safe environment and is committed to the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children. To Apply:Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.Ravenswood will begin to review applications and interview applicants prior to the application closure date.
