This is a permanent part time role with a 0.6 FTE load, across 4 days per week.To be successful in securing this position, you will have demonstrated knowledge and skills in learning support encompassing:Understanding of student learner variability and how to meet the individual needs of students with learning differences and disabilities.Knowledge of current research and best practices in teaching neurodiverse learners and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports.Understanding of legal obligations to support students' access to learning programs on the same basis as other students.Experience in designing, implementing, and delivering learning support programs, including modifications and adjustments to curriculum and assessments.Collaboration with the Learning Enrichment team and classroom teachers to deliver evidence-informed programs and utilise a co-teaching support model of instruction.Experience developing Individual Learning Profiles and administering disability provisions for specified assessment tasks.Experience communicating with parents and case-managing students identified with additional learning needs, in consultation with classroom teachers.Essential QualificationsPost-graduate qualifications in Inclusive Education or Special Education or a willingness to pursue such qualifications.Strongly desirable but not essential:Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.To Apply:Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
