This role is responsible for ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and academic support of our boarding students, while overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff within the Boarding House.Reporting to the Principal and Head of Senior School, the Director of Boarding is responsible for:Overseeing the welfare and pastoral care of all boarding students, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.Managing and mentoring boarding staff, including rostering and operational duties.Collaborating with school leadership to uphold Ravenswood’s values and provide a high standard of residential care.Developing and implementing programs that foster a strong sense of community within the Boarding House.Liaising with students, parents, and staff to ensure open and effective communication.Being on call overnight for emergency situations as required.Organising recreational and co-curricular activities that enhance students' boarding experience.The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, professional, and highly organised leader who is passionate about student wellbeing. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Boarding to provide leadership and management of our Residential College during a period of parental leave.
